Is heart and soul going to be able to go across both johto and kanto the way G+S did?... i hope they make the elite four challenging this time -_-... it went downhill since the original R+B... it all got too easy after that, i want the elite four to be a reason to REALLY train my pkmn's levels... i was SO disappointed with the lvl 40's G+S elite four had... there was nothing elite about them... Ash was pathetic in that cave b/c of the type matchup's... come to think of it tho, there is so much that they CAN do now, i mean we got the potential for secret bases, breeding, poffins, berries, 2v2 matches, double battles, and a ton more. As fun as the side mission stuff is, since they give something to do after the game is "beaten", i still want the main game to be more challenging, even if it means the same rediculous level jump that R+B seemed to do right after the 3rd badge (lvl 30's) compared to the 4th badge's (lvl 50's) and for heaven sakes, a freshly caught lvl 70 mewtwo still would get a run for his money against the elite four and champion! I miss the good old days... not this stupid brail crap that ruby and sapphire did... v_v sad...

Yes, HG/SS will allow you to go to Kanto. They are REMAKES of Gold and Silver, after all. They'll be able to do everything you could and more.

Also, Nintendo likes moving Moltres somewhere different every generation. It just can't sit still!

i kno its odd, but i wish they'd add the orange islands into one of these games already. Its like the orange islands were the mistake that the pokemon company wants everyone to forget
