While I'm happy that I made it in, I was not in the least bit interested meeting my fellow tribe mates and/or competitors. It was a double-edged sword, they can't size me up, I can't either.
It was more for a personal reason though.
From what I had seen from "enthusiastic players, ready to get the game going!", people had adjusted the way they typed to make the game and their persona more realistic AKA they're obsessed.
Meeting Pokemon fans is fine, but
"GWAHAHAHAHA *appears* HAUNTER USES SHADOW BALL! *disappears* is not.
i almost pictured entering into the chat and seeing otakus singing the pokemon rap in the chat
oh thank LAWD i didn't go
