Come on guys!
*Satoshi Tribe wants in and enters into a huge Pokemon Stadium, the crowd loud and cheering their names*
Hello there Final Eight. I hope you've all been enjoying your time around camp, what with the Reward Challenge to give you a break. But that break is over, so let's move right onto our next immunity challenge!
Last reward challenge tested your Pokemon knowledge, and I'm pleased to see how well everyone did on it. But this challenge is gonna take it a step furtherer, where YOU guys will be doing battle for immunity this week!
Instructions:
-All of eight of you have been broken down into four, one on one pokemon battles. It will work like a tournament, where the winner advances to the next round. Win all three rounds, and you'll claim immunity. To win in a battle, you must reduce your opponents HP to 0, or have it lower then your own at the end of the round.
-SLOWPOKE and FLAREON will both have 165 HP with their advantage. GROWLITHE's Thunder Badge will allow her to have 175 HP for this challenge. The rest of you will be starting with 150 HP.
-Since it'd be a bit unfair to use typical attacks from your Pokemon (and since we want to keep this as balanced as possible) you will each get four moves to use. Three of these moves will be standard to each of you. These moves are:
Tackle
30/30 PP
Deals 10 physical damage.
Tail Whip
15/15 PP
Next physical attack on you misses, next special attack deals half damage.
Focus Blast
10/10 PP
Deals 30 special damage.
The fourth and final move will each be different and unique, and they have been each assigned to one of you by Growlithe. These moves will be listed for you below. But first, let me explain how you guys will be doing battle.
Each Pokemon will be sending in a list of 30 different commands that they want to perform over the course of their three battles. Each battle will consist of seven corresponding actions on the list. Here is an example:
Battle 1
1) Tackle
2) Tackle
3) Tail Whip
4) Focus Blast
5) Focus Blast
6) Tackle
7) Tail Whip
Battle 2
1) Tail Whip
2) Tackle
... Ect.
The commands you listed in each battle phrase would then be carried out against your Pokemon opponent. Whether that be dealing damage, avoiding an attack or whatever, they will be played out in a 7 turn battle. At the end of seven turns, the pokemon who reduced their opponents HP to 0, or who's HP was highest, will advance to the next round. In the second round, next seven commands would be used for the second battle. If you win in the second battle, then the third set of seven commands will be used in the final battle. The reason I ask for you to send in 30 commands is that if the Pokemon battle, at the end of the seven rounds is tied, we will continue to go down the list. So if after the first seven battles both are tied at the same HP, we'd move onto the first command you have in your second battle. After that, if a winner isn't found, we'll continue down the line until someone is determined the winner and advanced.
Be aware: Everything past the 21st command you send in is considered extra and may not be played.
Here is a small example battle:
TURN 1
Pikachu tackles Pichu for 10 damage (Pichu HP: 140)
Pichu tackles Pikachu for 10 damage (Pikachu HP: 140)
TURN 2
Pikachu tackles Pichu for 10 damage (Pichu HP: 140)
Pichu uses focus blast on Pikachu for 30 damage (Pikachu HP: 110)
TURN 3
Pikachu uses tail whip on Pichu. (Pikachu: 110 HP)
Pichu uses tackle on Pikachu... but it misses! (Pichu HP: 140)
TURN 4
Pikachu uses focus blast on Pichu for 30 damage. (Pichu HP: 110)
Pichu tackles Pikachu for 10 damage. (Pikachu HP: 100)
TURN 5
Pichu uses tail whip on Pikachu!
Pikachu uses focus blast on Pichu for 15 damage. (Pichu HP: 95)
TURN 6
Pikachu tackles Pichu for 10 damage. (Pichu HP: 85)
Pichu uses focus blast on Pikachu for 30 damage. (Pikachu HP: 70)
TURN 7
Pikachu uses tail whip on Pichu.
Pichu uses tail whip on Pikachu.
WINNER: Pichu (HP - 85)
In that situation, Pichu would advance to the next round. Had we tied, we would have went to a turn 8, using my next command.
***When you advance to the next round, your HP is fully restored to it's original amount. This will make the next battle being with everyone at the same HP range (unless you have an advantage)***
Of course, there are some limitations to the moves you can do. You'll notice that next to each move there is a number and the words PP. These are your Power Points. Every time you use one of the moves listed, 1 PP will be subtracted from the total is has listed in order for you to use the move. Once your PP hits 0, that move CAN NOT be used again. PP does NOT restore at the end of each match, once you use it, it will be gone forever, so make sure you don't mis-manage your skills!
NOTE:
-Please remember the order you send in your commands will reflex the order they're used in the tournament. Clearly labeling what moves you want to be used in what battle would be a great help.
-HP does restore if you advance, PP does not.
-If you do not send in a list of answers, your list will be treated as if you sent in 30 commands of 'Tackle'.
-If you use a move that has its PP used up, the move will fail and be treated as a miss (regardless of whether it can miss or not)
If you have any questions, send me an e-mail. You'll have until WED, the 24th at 6PM EST to send in your list of answers to pokemonsurvivor@yahoo.com or PM them to me over the forums.
Here is how the brackets of the Pokemon Battle will be broken down. Positions were selected by the time you sent in your answers. Those who did not send in answers were given what was left.

Below is a list of the moves that were selected to be given to you by Growlithe. I know some of you can't exploded or use sing, but for this tournament, we'll let that Poke-logic slide.
